2013 Cadets Challenge and Oceania Championships

Attached are details about the Oceania Cadet Championships 2013, and the Open International Cadet Challenge 2013 to be held in New Caledonia. The events will be contested in sabre (12 July), epee (13 July) and foil (14 July).

Competitions will be held in Individual and Teams in all three weapons, for both girls and boys. Countries may enter any number of competitors in the individual events. Countries may enter two teams in each weapon in the team events. To increase the amount of fencing for all, mixed teams will be made up where there are not enough individuals to form complete national teams.

New Caledonia is a beautiful, tropical island paradise with an overlay of French culture that includes a love of Fencing. We would be delighted to welcome you there for this competition.

Fencers from Australia, New Caledonia, New Zealand, and Hong Kong competed at the Oceania Junior Championships in New Caledonia from 13-15 July, 2012.

The Oceania Fencing Confederation thanks La Ligue de Nouvelle Calédonie for their hospitality in hosting this event.
